à bientôt, SF!
San Francisco has been my home for the last four years and has been filled with donuts, fried chicken, and many, many coffees - with the occasional run to burn off said fried chicken. And while I will return to Northern California, I'm heading off on a new adventure. Living in France has always been something I wanted to do, and soon, I'll be doing just that!
Before leaving, I've been trying to do the things that I will miss most about living here. And most of those things revolve around eating (which is unsurprising if you know me well). With only a few days left in the states, I'm eating all of the American goodies I can before I move to the land of baguettes and croissants (which I cannot wait for)!
In addition to the endless supply of donuts and coffee, one of the things I love most of San Francisco is its proximity to my family. Going home allows me to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while also escaping the fog. And I get to spend time with my family while sipping rosé and looking out over our vineyard.
While I'll miss driving up the 101 and splitting my time between SF and Healdsburg, I'm excited to be making the transition back into the wine industry. What better place to do that than in Bordeaux.
